USMLE Eligibility Criteria

For students, it is necessary to understand the eligibility criteria at every stage of the USMLE examination.

Criteria at Step 1 & Step 2:

  • The Students should be graduates of a Canadian or US medical school program or enrolled in a program leading to the MD qualification, as accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.
  • The student must be a medical student enrolled officially in the US medical school, which further leads to a DO degree or a graduate of the same, per the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation.
