The ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢â€™s student organization in collaboration with Humanity First successfully organized a medical camp for the ones in need in Georgetown. This event was made possible by the sheer dedication and assistance of our students and the team from Humanity First.
Groups of Doctors from ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢ along with a team of experts and doctors from Humanity First made sure that no patient who needed help was sent without treatment. The team of doctors and assistants treated many patients with a few viral diseases, allergies, and patients who needed first aid.
The camp not only provided immediate medical care but also raised awareness about preventive health measures, offering valuable information on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention. It was an opportunity for the students and medical professionals to engage with the local community, building meaningful connections and making a tangible difference in people's lives.
The event reflected the core values of ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢â€”compassion, service, and commitment to improving the health and well-being of underserved populations. The success of this medical camp marks just the beginning of a long-standing partnership between LAU and Humanity First, with plans for future community health initiatives already in the works.
